Wallet Recovery

Your NeuroHash wallet is secured with a BIP-39 mnemonic recovery phrase. This phrase allows you to recover your wallet and funds if needed.

Viewing Your Recovery Phrase

  1. Go to Dashboard > Settings
  2. Click Show Recovery Phrase
  3. Enter your password to confirm
  4. Your 12-word mnemonic phrase will be displayed

:::danger Critical Security Warning

  • Never share your recovery phrase with anyone, including NeuroHash support
  • Store it offline — write it down on paper and keep it in a secure location
  • Anyone with your recovery phrase can access and drain your wallet
  • NeuroHash cannot recover your funds if you lose your recovery phrase :::

Downloading Your Recovery Phrase

You can download your recovery phrase as a text file:

  1. Click Download Recovery Phrase in Settings
  2. A file named wallet-recovery-phrase.txt will be saved
  3. Move this file to a secure, offline location immediately
  4. Delete the file from your Downloads folder

Recovering Your Wallet

If you need to access your wallet outside of NeuroHash, you can import your mnemonic phrase into any Ethereum-compatible wallet:

Using MetaMask

  1. Open MetaMask
  2. Click Import Wallet
  3. Enter your 12-word recovery phrase
  4. Set a password
  5. Add Robinhood Chain network (Chain ID: 4663, RPC: https://rpc.mainnet.chain.robinhood.com)
  6. Your balance should appear

Using Other Wallets

The BIP-39 mnemonic works with any standard Ethereum wallet:

  • Rabby
  • Trust Wallet
  • Rainbow
  • Any wallet supporting BIP-39 + Ethereum derivation path

Security Best Practices

  1. Write it down — Store your recovery phrase on paper, not digitally
  2. Multiple copies — Keep copies in different secure locations
  3. Never screenshot — Screenshots can be synced to cloud services
  4. Never email or message — Digital transmission is not secure
  5. Test recovery — Import your phrase into a separate wallet to verify it works before you need it
